Meet Mrs. Fadden
I am very excited to be your teacher this year! I am beginning my 37th year of teaching for New Prague Area Schools. I taught kindergarten for 11 years and have spend the last 25 years in first grade. I love teaching first grade because of all the growth. Also, first graders love to learn and are always curious!
I am a graduate of New Prague High School and The College of St. Catherine. I have a master's degree from St. Mary's University in teaching and learning. I have two sons: Thomas a CPA and Michael an attorney. Thomas and his wife Hayley have four children: Jack (7), Beau will be 4 in October and Margot (2.5 years), and Tripp (5 months). Thomas and his family live in Plymouth. Michael and his wife Kait live in Carver and have two children Harvey (2.5 years) and Cami (8 months).
When I'm not doing things related to school, I enjoy being outside and spending time with my grandchildren. I enjoy gardening, biking, and walking. My husband and I have a mini-goldendoodle named Bella and I take her for regular walks! Snuggling up with a warm blanket and a good book is another favorite activity for me!
