About me!
Hello! My name is Jason Wacek. I grew up in Olivia, MN. My dad is a farmer on our family farm. I graduated from BOLD High School in 2000, and then went to college at Minnesota State University Moorhead where I graduated in 2005. After getting hired in New Prague right after college I got my Masters in Teaching and Learning from St. Mary's University in Winona. This is my 19th year of teaching for the New Prague School District.
My wife Leah, four kids, and I live in New Prague. Leah is an ELL teacher at the high school, middle school, and Raven Stream. She loves running, reading, traveling, and hanging out with the kids. Norah is 14 years old and going into 9th grade. She is in gymnastics, track, cross country, and summer golf. She loves to swim, craft, hang with friends, and babysit in her free time. Cara is 12 years old and going into 7th grade. She loves singing and musicals. She also plays tennis. Ruby is 10 years old and in 5th grade at Raven Stream. She plays piano and soccer. She could sit by the beach all day exploring in the sand. All the girls love attending Camp Fusion Bible Camp every summer for 5 days. Finally, Simon is 8 and beginning 3rd grade. He is ALL boy who loves football, soccer, baseball, golf, swimming, and card games. His rough and tough personality doesn't represent that he has three sisters.
The big highlight of the summer was hosting family and friends at our house and pool! Our family loves to spend time together. Here are a few other FUN memories of the summer:

- BBQ Days Fireworks in Belle Plaine
- Ropes course at Kerfoot near Henderson with my family
- Watching Simon play kid pitch baseball for Veseli
- Minnesota Twins game with Cara
- staying at The Old Barn Resort - biking on state trails and tubing down the Root River with four other families
- Guys golf and fishing trip to Ottertail area
- 18 year anniversary with my wonderful wife
- MN Gopher Football games with my wife this fall!
- I also paint houses as a second job, and was busy doing that a lot.
I am blessed that I get to share your child with you. I can’t wait to start a fresh school year with them. Don’t hesitate to call or email if you ever have any questions.
