Star of the North Picture Book Award

The Star of the North Picture Book Award is a children’s choice book award for the state of Minnesota. It was started in 2013. This award is focused on picture books intended for a kindergarten through second grade audience. The purpose of the award is to promote quality picture books and encourage reading for children. In March, students across the state vote for their favorite book. The book receiving the most votes from children in kindergarten through second grade is the winner.
