About Me

Welcome to 5th grade! 

My name is Brad Drazan, I am honored to be your child’s teacher this year.  We are going to have a great year together.  This year my goal is for your child to grow socially, emotionally, and academically.   

This year will be my 9th year teaching 5th Grade, my second year at Raven Stream.  I previously taught 5th grade for seven years at Eagle View.  My wife Makayla, 5-year-old triplets (Anders, Kinley & Hudson), and two-year-old (Beckett) live in New Prague. In my free time, I enjoy fishing, golfing, and spending time outside.   A highlight of our summer was my brother getting married and family vacations to Mille Lacs and Shades of Sherwood! 

After graduating from  New Prague High School, I earned my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from  Minnesota State University, Mankato. In 2017, I completed my master’s degree in Curriculum Design and Instruction from St. Mary’s University. 

I am looking forward to getting to know your child and your family.  I believe communication will be crucial to our success.  My job is to support your child and family to the best of my ability.  Please do not hesitate to reach out if you need anything or have any questions!  We are going to have a great year together!
