Welcome to Third Grade!

Hi! Welcome to third grade! I am so excited to be part of the New Prague community and to get to know all of my students and their families this year!

I am a New Prague graduate myself, graduating in 2020. I attended Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, where I studied Elementary Education and Teaching English as a Second Language. While at Concordia, I also competed in cross country and track.

This will be my third year teaching! I previously taught fourth grade in West Fargo, ND, and fifth grade in Sioux City, IA. I am SO excited to be back home and have the opportunity to teach in the community that I grew up in!

Outside of school, my fiancé and I live in Carver with our Australian Shepherd, Buxton, and our cat, Opal. In my free time, you can usually find me running- I'm training for my 4th marathon, reading, cheering on the Vikings, or learning a new game or craft. (Right now, I am learning how to play mahjong!)

I am so excited for this school year and cannot wait for all of the learning, laughter, and memories we will make together. Welcome to third grade—I’m so glad you’re here!
