Info about Mrs. Larson

Hello! My name is Jenn Larson and I'm so excited to have your child in class this year!

I grew up in Northwest Iowa with my parents and two siblings, Jon and Jamie. I come from a family of teachers and attended the same college that my Grandfather taught at and also went to the same graduate school as he did! My husband Adam teaches 2nd grade in Jordan. We have 2 kids, Lucy is a freshman and loves tennis, 4H and equestrian therapy.  Liam is in 7th grade and loves soccer and track. 

This will my 18th year at Raven Stream! I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Dordt College, my masters in Special Education from the University of North Dakota and my Reading Endorsement from Concordia in St. Paul.  When I decided to make the move into the kindergarten classroom I added a Kindergarten Endorsement from the University of Mankato. I love learning and will be a lifelong learner!  I learn the most though from my own kids and my students!
