No Elementary School on Monday, September 30 for Teacher Training - To support literacy instruction, the READ Act was legislation passed in Minnesota in 2023. All of our K-5 classroom teachers and K-12 special education teachers will have a year-long required training for reading. This training will occur over the entire school year, with over 50 hours of content. Based on this time needed, there were multiple student-days removed from the school calendar. The next training day with no school will be November 1.

As always, the homecoming pep fest was a highlight at Raven Stream! We had a FUN time with our high school students getting ready to cheer on the Trojans at the big game.
There are many important and fun activities coming up in October. Remember to sign up for conferences in the message that was sent last week. At the end of October, we will highlight bullying prevention and drug awareness with Red Ribbon Week and a few dress up days. This will include the Harvest Parade on Thursday, October 31 in the late afternoon. More details will be shared by your child’s teacher.
