Problem Solvers: Profile of a Graduate
Being a problem-solver means your child is like a detective! They learn to ask many questions when they face something tricky, just like a detective asks "who, what, where?". Then, they think carefully about all the clues and information they find, like putting together pieces of a puzzle. Finally, they use those clues to figure out the best way to solve the problem, and they can even show you different ways they might have solved it. This helps them learn and grow by thinking through challenges!
This month each classroom worked together with their buddy classroom to build a tower or a bridge. They had to problem-solve ways to build a stable bridge or the tallest tower. There were a lot of smiles and laughter as students asked questions, offered ideas and collaborated.

MCA Testing for Grade 3-5
All 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students will take the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments this spring. Please avoid making appointments during the following dates to support our students and teachers for the assessments.
3rd Grade: April 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24
4th Grade: April 8, 9, 10, 22, 23, 24
5th Grade: April 15, 16, 17, 21, 22, 29, 30
